Strategic Response Team Agent

KLC Security is seeking highly motivated, disciplined, and tactically proficient individuals to serve as Strategic Response Team (SRT) Agents. Members of the SRT are deployed to support specialized security operations, augment existing protective forces, and respond to elevated threat scenarios that exceed the scope of standard private security roles.

Strategic Response Team Agents are expected to demonstrate advanced tactical skills, discretion under pressure, exceptional situational awareness, and the ability to integrate seamlessly with client-side security personnel. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in tactical operations, protective services, or military/law enforcement backgrounds who are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven security career.

Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Response Team Agent, you will:

  • Operate as part of a cohesive tactical unit, providing rapid and coordinated response to security incidents, threats, and critical events.

  • Augment existing security personnel at high-profile events, sensitive facilities, and protective details requiring elevated readiness.

  • Execute established security protocols with precision, maintaining discipline and professionalism at all times.

  • Conduct advanced perimeter assessments, threat identification, and strategic positioning during deployments.

  • Support covert and overt operations as directed, requiring discretion and adherence to operational confidentiality.

  • Provide tactical support in executive protection scenarios, emergency evacuations, crisis response planning, and heightened-alert environments.

  • Maintain clear, professional communication with command elements, clients, and partner security teams.

  • Engage in ongoing training exercises to refine tactical skillsets, response procedures, and coordination techniques.

  • Operate specialized equipment, vehicles, and tactical communications systems as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in military special operations, law enforcement tactical units, executive protection, or related high-threat security operations.

  • Proven competence in special weapons and tactics, defensive operations, threat response, and team-oriented mission execution.

  • Current or former service in a tactical role (e.g., SWAT, special missions unit, military infantry or special operations unit, executive protection detail).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required state or federal licenses, certifications, or clearances as determined by assignment.

  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform in high-stress, mission-critical environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Capacity to react swiftly and decisively while maintaining operational discipline and professionalism.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or be deployed as required by mission.

  • Valid CCW and Armed Security Guard License in New York and/or New Jersey.

  • High level of discretion, ethical conduct, and commitment to confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with private security firms in high-risk environments.

  • Certifications in advanced tactical training, defensive tactics, weapons proficiency, or emergency response.

  • Familiarity with protective intelligence, threat analysis, and escalation mitigation.
